The purpose of building a 2002 wrx is more for the fact that this chassis is starting to become more and more of a classic, and as person who loves classics I decided to build this. This is actually my first Subaru, I know you’re probably thinking why build an older body/ car right? To be honest the newer generation of vehicles have no spark in my interest as much as older generations. Don’t get me wrong I love all cars and body styles, but something about the older generations from the late 70’s to early 2000’s pops out more to me. As a person who would build older generation Honda’s I wanted to step into a different platform for a bit, so I bought a Subaru lol. Initially the main purpose was to buy a sedan for my first born and my wife and I to enjoy my passion for building cars along with having somewhat of a family car. That quickly changed after countless hours of research of this chassis what you can do how light it is for track/ street car purposes, wheels specs, pros cons etc. so I went on a ahead and built this car. There is way more to what I’ve done to this car but once I’m finished I’ll finalize the story, so for now I’ll enjoy this car thank you for viewing.
