Growing up with a single mother, the male influence in my life came greatly from my grandfather. My grandfather has always loved corvettes, and because of that I started out with a bit of a biased opinion on what a good car is. So as I had mentioned my grandfather was a huge influence on me growing up especially as I spent the summers with him and my grandmother. One summer I will always remember, there was a yellow c5 corvette parked by the side of the highway that led to the shooting range and a few good fishing spots. I just remember every time we past it he would comment how he really liked the way the car looked. This went on every outing for most of the summer until I finally convinced him to stop and take a look.... he did but did not end up buying the car. Fast forward a few years and I am now in middle school and I find the British show top gear. When they actually showed a liking to the c6 that they tested on their show that just proved to me that I was right corvettes are amazing. I started following corvette racing as the c6.r was just dominating all the big name sports car companies, this locked it in i had to have one. Shortly after college my grandfather finally got his corvette a red 2005 c6. He had finally gotten his dream car and I finally got to drive a corvette. That lit the fire and a few years later after getting into autox and deciding i needed a better race car I pulled the trigger as well and have had my dream car almost a year now. I have added just a few small touches so far but I have big plans for this beauty as she inspired me to follow my other life long dream of opening my own performance and repair shop. Can't wait to see what the future holds
