Car show with build profiles — the ModLinQ advantage | ModLinQ

The unfair advantage

Every car at your show is a story.

Eventbrite sells you a ticket. CarShowPro tracks scores. Neither knows what's under the hood. ModLinQ does — every car at your show can have a complete build profile with parts, mods, photos, owner, history. The data is the difference. Judges score with context. Spectators discover. Sponsors see the actual audience.

For judges

The build profile inside the ballot.

When a judge opens a ballot, they don't see a windshield card and a name. They see the entrant's build — "5.7 LS swap, T56 6-speed, MagnaFlow exhaust, custom paint, 7,400 miles since restoration." The score reflects what's actually there, not what fits on an index card.

For spectators

Scan a QR. Get the whole build.

A spectator at your show pulls out their phone, scans the QR on the windshield card. They land on the public car profile — every photo, every mod, every part installed, the owner's notes. They follow the owner. They DM with a question. They come home from your show with three new ModLinQ accounts to follow.

For sponsors

The actual audience, not a media kit lie.

Your sponsor wants to know what they're paying for. Walk them through the entrants — every entry has a profile, every profile has parts. "This is your customer. Here are the brands they're already running. Here are the mods they're planning next." That's a sponsor pitch with receipts.

And it persists. Forever.

Show ends → the entrant's build profile keeps living on ModLinQ. Next year, when they show up to register again, their build is already there — updated photos, new mods, fresh parts. Repeat customers come pre-loaded with data. Your show gets richer every year, not staler.

FAQ

Common questions.

What if an entrant doesn't have a ModLinQ profile?
They get an entry number anyway. The walk-up flow emails them an invite to claim a profile after the show — by next year they're a returning entrant with full data.
Do entrants have to share their build with judges?
By default the profile is public — that's the whole platform. If they want privacy, they can set the profile to private and judges only see name + vehicle.
Can I require a build profile to enter?
Not today — a free-text vehicle field is acceptable. We're considering a host toggle that requires linked profiles for premium classes (Concours-level judging benefits the most).
