Came to the Hawaiian Islands January of 2020 with a dream. A dream to live in paradise, with the car I have always wanted. Fast forward to April 2020, browsing through the market I stumbled across it. A 2017 Ford Focus RS with 29,000 miles. A little high in the mileage, but maybe I can get them down on the price since they were asking $32,000. While discussing finances with the salesman, I overhear they are closing their doors the same day due to COVID-19. From that point on, I knew it was a done deal. "Potentially I could be their last customer for a while", I thought. Threw some numbers back and forth with the manager. Just like that, we settled for $29,000. I went to the dealer expecting to look at my dream car, never expected to leave with it. At the end of the day, if you can walk away from your car after you park it and not look back at your investment, then you have the wrong vehicle. Safe to say, i have a real head turner.
